Mint Collectible Lottery Tickets

A mint, unscratched lottery ticket is an expired, collectible scratch-off ticket that is in perfect, unused condition. These tickets have no monetary gaming value and are sold purely for their appeal to collectors.

Mint Premium Tickets are:
Very rare (less than 20; and many times less than 5 exist) or
Have additional characteristic features or
Official lottery tickets that were available as promotional only or
Very high face value tickets or
Limited time special price.

Our Lottery tickets are usually protected in a premium acrylic magnetic frame or a premium plastic sleeve. Rarely, some are shipped without these extra protective measures.

Key characteristics of a mint, unscratched lottery ticket:

Condition: The ticket is in excellent, pristine condition. It has no folds, creases, tears, or missing pieces. The colors are original, and there is no fading or staining.

Unscratched latex: The latex coating that covers the game play area is completely intact, signifying it has never been played.

Expired: Mint tickets sold for collecting purposes are from games that expired many years ago and are no longer valid for prizes.

Not a sample: Unless indicated, these are original, authentic lottery scratch-offs, not "VOID" or sample copies issued to retailers.

Collectible value: The value of these tickets is determined by their rarity, age, and condition, making them desirable to lotologists (lottery ticket collectors).

The state of Texas recalled expired tickets and destroyed all the withdrawn lottery tickets remaining. Therefore, it is rare to find mint unscratched lottery tickets. Collecting these tickets is a niche hobby for those interested in the graphic design, history, or nostalgia associated with old scratch-off games.
